MANCHESTER

21ST - 23RD JUNE, 2017

WHATS HAPPENING?

The Global NYI Convention takes place every four years, just before the Church of the Nazarene General Assembly. NYI delegates gather around the world to participate in the business necessary to advance youth ministry. At convention, delegates are also equipped to reach young people for Christ as they implement discipleship in their lives and are empowered for ministry.

This is the third Global NYI Convention where delegates will be meeting from regional sites all around the world. The regional sites are connected through two-way video conferencing with dynamic participation from all over the world. With the move to have regional sites, the participation from around the world has increased and become more feasible for delegates. The sites are a celebration of our global church and NYI’s desire for everyone to have a seat at the table.

This is the website for the Manchester convention site.

Take the train to Piccadilly Station, then the local branchline onwards to East Didsbury station; then walk north up Wilmslow Road towards Didsbury, turning left on Dene Rd. The college is at the end of the road. (About a 20 minute walk). If you want to take the bus, then as you leave Piccadilly Station, walk down the slope to the right and follow the main road until it leads you into a large square called Piccadilly Gardens.
